About Me

EXPERT HOTEL LAWYER:

I have 35 years’ experience advising predominantly hotel owners and developers on both legal and commercial matters and over that time I have seen the hotel agreements of just about all the major hotel operators (management and franchise); I know all the tricks and pitfalls to avoid and I know exactly how far to push negotiations with every major hotel operator.

I have been helped in this regard having worked several years in-house at the Sheraton so I have a very good perspective on hotel deals from both sides of the table all of which helps me close deals quickly and effectively without getting bogged down in irrelevant detail.

Due to my long experience in the hospitality industry, clients have frequently sought my advice on commercial issues arising from the negotiation of hotel management and franchise agreements such as fee structures and operator/brand selection as well as purely legal issues. I have many contacts in the hospitality industry on the consulting side, the development side and also the operational side.
